What is meant by greenhouse effect
The greenhouse effect is the way in which heat is trapped close to the surface of the Earth by “greenhouse gases.” These heat-trapping gases can be thought of as a blanket wrapped around the Earth, which keeps it toastier than it would be without them.

Energy is transferred to the thermal store of the surroundings

The potential difference between two points in electric circuit is the work done when I coulomb of charge passes between the points potential difference causes charge to flow

Resistance is caused by anything that opposes the flow of electric charge

Anything charged that is able to move within a circuit. Electrons or ions
What is a series
A circuit with only one route for charge to take
What is a parallel circuit
A circuit with only more than one route for charge to take
What is live wire
Brown colour, current flows to the appliance. Potential difference this and other wires should be 230v
What is the neutral wire
Blue colour current taken away from appliance potential difference should be 0V
What is Earth wire
Yellow and green colour potential difference of 0v carries change to us if the livewire touches the metal causing appliance
