There are different objects that are related to this day, such as skulls, bread of the dead, and flowers.
Hay diferentes objetos que están relacionados a este día, como las calaveras, el pan de muertos, y las flores.
Skulls symbolize death and reincarnation, the bread of the dead represents the soul of the person who has died and the flowers have to be yellow or orange since they are considered flowers of the dead.
Las calaveras simbolizan la muerte y la reencarnación, el pan de muerto representa el alma de la persona que ha muerto y las flores tienen que ser amarillas o naranjas ya que se consideran flores de muertos.
In Korea we also have something more or less similar where we visit our family in cemeteries or go to the house of the eldest son of the family.
There we honor all our past generations, cook and eat special meals and spend time with family too.
En Corea también tenemos algo más o menos parecido/similar en la cual visitamos a nuestra familia en los cementerios o vamos a la casa del hijo mayor de la familia.
Ahí honramos a todas nuestras generaciones pasadas, cocinamos y comemos comidas especiales y pasamos tiempo en familia también.
The Day of the Dead seems to me to be a symbolic and very beautiful tradition.
