- Can be easily confused
- Can misinterpret

Voice Driven Interface
Converts speech to text
+ Quicker than typing
+ Suitable for disabled
- Background noise
- Has to be taught to understand you
E.g. SAT NAV set a destination while driving
Command Line Interface
Suitable for experienced users
+ fast to execute
+ Needs very little memory
- Must know commands to use it
- A lot of typing
E.g. expert can use it to find information about a network
Game Playing device
E.g. A steering wheel to control a car in game
+Makes the game more realistic
Menu-driven Interfaces
A user is presented with options to choose from
+ Very easy to use
- Only suitable where there are only a few items to select
