not keeping anonymity/confidentiality/privacy against the participant’s will (e.g. in covert observation, or in recording and publishing data)
what is the feminist approach to ethics?
Oakley:
feminist interview approach superior to masculine approach.
Interviewees are NOT mere objects of study.
Focused on ethics, reciprocity, intimate + non hierarchical relationship
No exploitation
triangulation (qualitative methods for ethics, quantitative methods to gain credibility + funding)
