London is formed essentially in rings with the CBD in the centre, then the inner city, inner suburbs, outer suburbs and Rural Urban Fringe on the edge
Land use in CBD
Economical/business centre, dense buildings, low population but many people commute in to work. High rise buildings. Not the best air quality but some of the best transport links.
Land use in inner city
Used to be factories, now its mostly residential and commercial. Find large superstores, rental parks, westfields
Land use in suburbs
Houses with space such as driveways, gardens etc.
How is migration increasing population
The city’s population is growing as net movement is still high with more people moving in than out. These people settle in London and have children there increasing the population even more.

Inner city as houses are smaller so cheaper than a large house with a driveway in the suburbs. Also near work opportunites

What is deindustrialisation
The closure of factories and decline of secondary sector jobs.
