Q

What are lipids?

A

Fats. They are a store of energy which provide double the energy that carbohydrates and proteins do, are made up of fatty acids and glycerol and are found in cheese, butter or oils

Q

How do all practicals begin in food and energy practicals?

A

Crushing food sample with pestle and mortar and adding some water to make a solution. After placing the solution in to a test tube the test is ready to be carried out
