What is a landcape?
A
A landscape has visable features that make up the surface of the land. Landscapes can be broken down into 4 ‘emements’

What are examples of the 4 landcape elements (biological, physical, human, variable)?
A
- Physical: mountains, coastlines, rivers
- Biological: vegitation, habitats, wildlife
- Human: buildings, infrastructure, structures
- Variable: weather, smells, sounds/sights

Describe the glaciation of the UK and what it was like during and after the ice age?
A
Over many thousands of years, glaciation has made an imperssion on the UK’s landscape. Today, much of upland Britain is covered in u-shaped valleys eroded steep mountain peaks.
* During ice age: Ice covered areas eroded and weathered landscapes to create dramatic mountain scenery.
* After ice age: Deep valleys and deposition of sediment revealed
