Q

How to find the density of a solid

A

Measure it’s mass.
For irregular solids use eureka cab filled with water
Water displaced transferred to measuring cylinder. Vol of water is cold of object

Q

How to find the density of a liquid

A

Measuring cylinder on balance on zero. 10ml of liquid into measuring cylinder. Record the mass. Keep adding 10ml and take recordings. 1ml=1cm3
Avg density

Q

Why does a change in pressure cause a change in volume

A

If a container can change its size and shape easily then the pressure causes the container to compress or expand
