What is coexistence ?
A
Niche overlaps but the resources are shared

How does competition effect niches ?
A
Species who share a niche share resources and once they get scarce then the animals compete for them

What are the two types of niche and explain
A
- Broad niche - high variety in weather conditions and food sources & organisms have to be able to adapt (generalist)
- Narrow niche-not having variety & animals are specialized and have adapted to specific environment (specialists)
