16
Q

what is the equation for neutralisation

A

H( ) + OH = H2O

17
Q

what is titration

A

titration is a controlled chemical reaction

18
Q

what are the steps to titration

A
  1. to fill a burette with 100cm3 of acid with the base at the line

2.use a 25cm3 pipette to add 25cm3 of alkaline to a flask

  1. add drops of indicator add the acid and the base to flask
  2. add the acid and the base to flask
  3. record the titration
  4. repeat until you have consistent results
