A
- Identifying the competing response
- Implementing the competing response contingent on the habit behaviour
- Using the competing response in anticipation of the habit behaviour

Q
Why does habit reversal work?
A
- increase in awareness of habit behaviour
- competing response serves as a punisher
- competing response replaces the habit behaviour
