Q

How to Calculate the Speed?

A

Speed = Distance/Time
S = D/T
Speed =D/T
S = Distance/Time

Example
Speed = D/T
Speed = 10km(Distance) / 1h(Time)
10/1 = 10km/h
Speed = 10km/h
Speed = D/T
Speed = 150m(Distance) / 5s(Time)
150/5 = 30m/s
Speed = 30m/s

Q

How to calculate Distance?

A
Distance = Speed x Time
D = S x T
Distance = S x T
D = Speed x Time
Example
D = S x T
D = 8m/s(Speed) x 12s(Time)
D = 8 x 12 = 96m
D = 96m
D = S x T
D = 15m/s(Speed) x 4s(Time)
D = 15 x 4 = 60m
D = 60m

Q

How to calculate Time?

A
Time = Distance/Speed
T = D/S
Time = D/S
T = Distance/Speed
Example
T = D/S
T = 50m(Distance) / 25m/s(Speed)
T = 50/25 = 2s
T = 2s
T = D/S
T = 150km(Distance) / 30km/h(Speed)
T = 150/30 = 50h
T = 50h

Q

How to calculate the Moment?

A
Moment = Force x Distance from the pivot.
M = F x D
Example
M = F x D
M = 3N(Force) x 1.5m(Distance)
M = 3 x 1.5 = 4.5Nm
M = 4.5Nm

Q

How to Calculate the Length of the lever(Distance).

A
Distance = Moment / Force
D = M / F
D = Moment / Force
Distance = M / F
Example
D = M / F
D = 8Nm / 2
D = 8/2 = 4m
