German revolution: Cause + resolution
Argument: The primary cause of the revolution was the ending of WW1. Through his actions, Ebert betrayed the revolution.
Factors: Abdication, General Discontent, War

1918-1919 Crisis
Argument: There was not a revolution, but revolutionary events occurred.
Threat from the right was stronger
The government survived due to a lack of organisation from both sides
Factors: Left, Right, strength of government, weakness of govt
How democratic was the Weimar Republic?
Argument: It was forward-thinking but not as democratic as people made it out to be
Many articles were effective but a few were flawed and responsible for the collapse of the republic
Factors: Democracy, Undemocratic processes, Articles clauses
Golden years: factors and validity
Arguments: Illusion of stability.
The countries foreign relations had the most recovery by far
Factors: yes it was, no it wasn’t
Stresseman: Policies and motives
Arguments: Successful foreign and economic policy, social welfare less so
Stresseman was both a good European and good German but overall he was a huge liar
Factors: Economic/Social/Foreign recovery, Good German/Good European
Hyperinflation Crisis: cause + effect
Arguments: Cause was how the govt reacted to the invasion of the Ruhr
The effects are responsible for the collapse of the republic
Factors:Cause, effect, resolution
Chancellorship during the republic
Arguments:Bruning was awful, Stresseman was way better.
Factors: Political, Economic, Foreign
Factors in the collapse of the Weimar Republic
Arguments: The way the Wr dealt with hyperinflation (+the financial crash) gave the Nazis a reason to turn the people
The constant change in chancellors weakened the Weimar further
Factors: financial crash, chancellors, the Nazis, the Traty of Versailles
Rise of the Nazis
Arguments: they were calculating but aided by circumstance
The most important factor in their rise was their organisation
Factors: Politics, economy, Propoganda, Organisation, Leadership
