We need to take into account that it was written by many differnt audiences some are symbolic and have a hidden meaning.
There are different types of books in the Bible and we shoukd know what each sector means so we have a deeper understanding of the ourpse and the message God is trying to convey.
It was written 1000s of years ago so people had differnt opinions and judgements. They believed the Earth is flat. And we need to take this into account when reading the Bible.

We should read all passages inn the same way.
The Bible is word for word. And to understand the message all we have to do is read it.

Catholic Holy book.
Came from certain events and was passed verbally and came in parts.

The Bible: two testaments. Catholics believe Bible is a collection of writing made up over many centuries by the Church. Writers were inspired by God. It is diine and human as it communicates Gods wisdom in our words. -

Humans were the final act of Gods creation but the most important. God created everything ex nihilo out of love and humans were made to experience the love of God.

humans reason for making moral decisions the knowledge we have of doing what is right and wrong.
