What is diphydonty ?
Having 2 generations of teeth -
- deciduous dentition
- permanent dentition
When is the deciduous dentition present ?
6 months to 2.5 years
When is the permanent dentition present ?
Between 6 and 21 years old
What is mixed dentition ?
When some teeth are deciduous teeth and some are permanent between the ages of 6 and 14
What is heterodonty ?
Having different teeth forms -
- incisiforme
- caniniforme
- molariforme

Adjacent to the lips

Adjacent to the palate

Adjacent to the tongue

Closer to the midline
