Chapter 15

A

Tom swims off of the island in the Mississippi River to sneak in the house to see Aunt Polly, Sid, and Mrs. Harper. They are talking about how they miss the boys and how they should have been kinder to them. Also, they are talking about how a search crew found a raft way down stream (the one they lost) and learns that everyone assumes they all drowned. After they all go to bed, Tom sneaks into Aunt Polly’s room and places one of his sycamore scrolls on her table but decides against it. He then goes back to tell Huck and Joe of his adventure and they are making breakfast.
