A
- unemployment dropped from 6 million in 1933 to 2 million in 1935, an actual labour shortage by 1939 with almost no unemployment (only 335k)
- wages for worker improved slightly (Christmas bonuses)
- 1935 Reich labour service created, helped mitigate effects of unemployment on the German economy, militarise workforce and indoctrinate it into nazism (involved 400k men who would have been unemployed)
- unemployed men aged 19-25 made to do 6 months labour in farming or construction
