Nail file-
It is a metal device used - to cut or shorten the fingernails/ toenails.
Nail cutter-
These are used for smoothening and polishing the nails.
Nail buffer -
It is used to cut stubborn cuticles.
Cuticle scissor-
It Is a metal device used to trim hangnails and dead cuticles.
Cuticle nipper-
It is used to rest the patron’s arms on and feel relax during manicuring process.
Manicure pillow-
It is a flat container where all the necessary tools/ implements, materials and cosmetics are placed for use by the manicurist.
Manicure tray-
- It is a wheeled cart that is pushed by hand and used for transporting manicuring tools and materials.
Trolley
- are consumables items that are replaced whenever needed.

- is used to sanitize implement.

Nail Polish remover-
Applying this on the nail makes it easier to lift the cuticle.
Cuticle remover-
prevents or corrects brittle nails and dry cuticles.
Cuticle cream-
- is a yellow - white powder prepared in an aqueous
solution and used as surface disinfectant and topical antiseptic.
Benzalkonium chloride
is used to soften the hand. It is recommended for overcoming a dry, chopped, or irritated condition of the skin.
Hand lotion-
- is applied over the base coat to give strength and color
to the nail plate.
Colored Nail Polish
is directly applied to nails to protect them from stain colored
polishes.
Base coat-
- is applied over the colored enamel that prevents peeling and chipping. It also add shine and helps polish last.
Top coat
is used to brush over the top coat to quicken the drying process.
Quick dry-
- is used to thin out liquid and polish.
Nail Polish Solvent
moisturizes cuticles, but doesn’t remove them.
Cuticle oil-
- are items which are more or less durable and permanent needed for a particular activity or purpose.
Equipment
This is an electrical mini tub where the feet are
submerged.
Foot Spa machine-
- It is a simple seat designed to provide comfort during foot spa.
Stool
- This is an equipment in a salon used for sterilizing metal implements to kill microorganisms.
Sterilizer
A furniture especially designed for giving manicure. It
usually has a laminated plastic surface and a drawer for storing materials. It is often fitted with ball casters for easy mobility.
Manicure table-
An electronic gadget used to soothe pain from
arthritis, and muscle spasms, and dry cracked skin of the hands.
