- Elders (blameless, married once, not rebellious, children are believers, no accusation of debauchery)
- Bishops (blameless, not arrogant, quick tempered or addicted to wine; not violent nor greedy; but must be hospitable, a lover of goodness, prudent, upright, devout, and self-controlled)
