What is tissue fluid?
A
Fluid that bathes the cells of individual tissues

How is tissue fluid formed?
A
At the arterial end: Fluid transports out into tissues
As the hydrostatic pressure is greater than the osmotic pressure
At the venous end: Fluid transports into the capillary
As the osmotic pressure is greater than the hydrostatic pressure
Excess fluid: Transports into the lymph vessel (around 10%)

A
A clear fluid that contains immune cells and waste products
Aids in phagocytosis, specifically agglutination
