In the summer of 1914 there were 5 ultimatums with a pressing time limit, all of which would lead to war if not solved. It began with the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and an acceleration of time due to tension and fear of war.

What is “aura”?
Aura is a unique quality that artwork or objects have, which can be lost when it is copied and regenerates a lot. This happens because we view art and nature differently, through screens, which makes them impersonal.
Who are Sarah/Mary (Happy Autumn Fields)?
Sarah and Mary are two girls in different times, one in an empty Autumn Field and one in a wartorn England. They seem to be connected through a box of letters, which acts as a time machine and allows them to become one even though they are temporally separate.
What is archive fever?
Archive fever comes at night when the archive is closed as everything within the archive calls out, asking to be heard.
What is Aida Sehovic’s STO TE NEMA?
A moving “monument”/”memorial” that takes place every year on the anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica in a different city of the world. There are cups which participants are meant to fill with coffee, in memory of the victims.
What was the Schlieffen Plan?
The Schlieffen Plan was an initiative to use strong forces quickly to take advantage of every victory. It moved troops and trains so that the western German army could keep attacking.
Who is Elpenor from the Odyssey?
Elpenor is one of Odyssesus’ comrades who died falling off of a roof. His ghost asks Odysseus to give him a proper burial so he can be remembered.
What is the Magistrate of History?
The Magistrate preserves the past. He ensures legacies are cared for, like a guardian of collective memories.
