Closure
Explains what happens after and in between the panels via inference
What does closure do
Makes the reader imagine what will happen, usually worse then what it is, Creating empathy, breaking down border between reader protagonist
- Moment to moment panels
Time is moving slowly, little to no closure
- Action to action
Short sequence, little closure, slightly faster then m-m shows relations
- Subject to subject
Involves closure over a longer duration of time, standard pace
- Scene to scene
Moving fast, moving across time frames, moving across settings a large use of closure can be used signify change and flow in time, could be used for comedic purposes
- Aspect to aspect
Slowing down action creating importance for some things that may be overlooked through a timeless quality ie; establishing shot
- Non sequitur
Non logically, a lot of closure needed can create disorientation creating a specific mood. Dispense with time, may be non linear
