- Firewood £45-50/t - (standing £20/t)
- Saw Logs £60-70/t, Poplar £40/t

Give an update of the timber market at the moment?
A
Hardwood
- Firewood market is in the balance at the moment as there is a lot of timber about – a hard winter is needed if prices are to stay up.

Saw Logs - Due to ash dieback there is a big market for ash saw log at the moment but the market is likely to become flooded so will fall.
- There is an oversupply of beam and fencing at the moment, large planking logs (top quality) are in short supply so prices have held up.
Softwood
The conifer market has been very good but is heavily influenced by world trade. Germany are currently felling large areas due to spruce bark beetle so prices are slipping.
