Butterfly shaped organ around the larynx.

Follicular cells in thyroid - build a lot of proteins.

A
C cells in thyroid. Act on osteoblasts and osteoclasts. Stop osteoclasts from reabsorbing bone. Not very important.

T4. T3 is much more effective as the receptor has a higher affinity for T3.
