  • 7 episodes in last year / 5 per year in 2 years / 3 per year in 3 years
  • 2 peritonsillar abscesses
  • suspected malignancy (asymmetrical)
  • sleep disordered breathing (snoring)

A

first 24 hr (usually within 6-8 hr) - take back to theatre

after 24 hr (usually 5-10 days later) - IV abx (usually caused by infection)
