LU5, LU10, LU1, LI11, BL13. Ma Xing Sh Gan Tang / Wu Hu Tang / Xie Bai San / Qing Qi Hua Tan Tang (if Phlegm)
Heat in PC (Ying Level) - s/s and tx?
High fever at night, burning sensation of epigastrium, cold limbs, delirium, aphasia. T: deep-red, stiff, no coat. P: fine-rapid. Tx: clear Heat in PC, restore consciousness, promote fluids. PC9, PC3, LI11, PC8, HT9, KD6, ShiXuan. Qing Ying Tang.

Fever, epigastric fullness, feeling of heaviness in body and head, nausea, vomiting. T: red w/sticky yellow t.c. P: soggy, rapid. Tx: clear Heat, resolve Dampness in SP. CV12, SP9, SP6, CV9, ST36, LI11, BL20, BL22. Lian Po Yin.

Fever in afternoon/evening, five-palm heat, dry mouth and throat, night sweats, deafness, lassitude. T: deep-red, no coat. P: floating-empty and rapid. Tx. nourish KD-Yin, clear Empty Heat. KD3, KD6, SP6, KD2, LI11. Huang Lian E Jiao Tang.
Liver-Heat stirs Wind - s/s and tx?
High fever at night, coma, convulsions, clenched teeth. T: deep-red, no coat. P: wiry-fine-rapid. Tx: clear Heat, extinguish Wind, stop convulsions, restore consciousness. LIV3, LIV2, GB20, GV16, SI3 + BL62, SP10, LI11, KD6, HT9, ShiXuan. Ling Jiao Gou Teng Tang.
Liver Empty Wind - s/s and tx?
Low-grade fever, cold limbs, dry and black teeth, dry and cracked lips, convulsions, tremor of limbs. T: deep-red no coat. P: deep-fine-rapid. Tx: nourish Yin, extinguish Wind, stop convulsions. LIV3, LIV2, GB20, GV16, SI3 + BL62, KD3, KD6, SP6, LIV8. Zhen Gan Xi Feng Tang or Da Ding Feng Zhu.
