How did Cromwell rise to power so quickly?
He earned the trust of Henry by passing a number of laws which legalized Henry’s divorce from Catherine of Aragon. In 1533, he was made the lord chancellor. between 1533 and 1540 Cromwell was given many titles, including: Master of the rolls in 1534, Vicar-general in 1536 and lord cread chamberlain in 1539.
Explain Cromwell’s great achievements, 1532-34?
He was responsible for managing the English reformations, by passing a series of laws. the most important of these were: the act of Annates (1532), the restrains of appeal to Rome (1533), and the act of supremacy (1534).
Explain Cromwell greatest achievements, 1536-40?
he supervised the dissolution of the Monasteries. As a result of this, about 650 monasteries were closed down. It is therefore not surprising that Cromwell is sometimes referred to as malleus monarchorum (the hammer of the Monks).
Explain why Cromwell fell from power in 1540?
In 1540, persuaded Henry to agree marry Anne of cleaves, in hoe of securing the support of the Protestant north German prices against the catholic holy roman emperor.
