She is hte Priestess of Agbala. She is also a widow the two kids and is very close to Ekwefi and Ezinma.

She is Okonkwo’s second wife and the mother to Ezinma. She isn’t as scared of Okonkwo as his other wives are.

He is the son of the priest of the snake cult. He is rumored to have killed and eated the sacred python. He “kills” an egwugwu.

A boy who went to live with Okonkwo. He was Okonkwo’s favorite, but he was eventually killed by him.

He is Okonkwo’s best friend, but he refuses to kill Ikemefuna. He has distaste for the culture.
Who is Nwoye?
He is Okonkwo’s son, but Okonkwo disowns him after he converts to Christianity and changes his name to Isaac. He was never seen as “manly” enough.

The judge of courts established in Umofia and the messeger of the queen. He arrested Okonkwo and the other 5 men.

He is another missionary. He sees white culture as good and right and African culture as bad and wrong.

He is the first white missionary. He treats everyone with respect.
Who is Mr. Kiaga?
He built the church in Umofia and has a lot of faith in it. He is very peaceful.

A kola is a type of nut that is given to guests to show respect.
