Leading Jacobin, told Robespierre the terror should come to an end. Dantonists anted the war to come to an end as it spurred on the terror. Executed on the 5th April 1794

Law of 22 prairial
Trials could take place for no more than 3 days, no witnesses or defense, the only outcomes were death. This law replaced all other laws, meaning the convention were no longer protected

Robespierre left the convention for 3 weeks because he needed time to think.
8 thermidor
Robespierre appeared before the convention and gave his last speech. He accused the convention of being counter revolutionary, he said more purges would be needed
9 thermidor
Saint Just (the angel of terror) arrived at the convention, he started to give a speech, but was interrupted by chants of ‘down with the tyrant’ against Robespierre.
A decree to arrest Robespierre passed unanimously
10 thermidor
Robespierre and 22 associates were found guilty and all sent to the guilotine the next day
