What is the DR ABC code for providing emergency care to someone that has been in a crash?
Danger: check that it’s safe to approach
Response: check if the casualty is conscious by talking to them
Airway: if there’s no response, lift their chin up to open the airway
Breathing: check if they are breathing by looking for chest movements and feeling for breath - if they are not breathing, start CPR
Circulation - apply pressure to and bandage any wounds, if there is something embedded in the skin, don’t take it out but pad the area around it
What is a Statutory Off Road Notication (SORN)?
A notification to the DVLA that a car is not being used and this doesn’t need to be taxed
