- homosexuals are only sinful if they have sex - should remain chaste

- accepts homosexuals who are in a commited, loving relationship but doesn’t allow them to marry IN church

Past - considered shocking (especially for women), still like this in many cultures the can be asked to leave the family
Now/last 50 years - Changed… it is widely accepted

- many belife sex is loving, life long union requiring commitment of marriage
- Shouldn’t be casual
- Sexually pure before marriage because shows commitment
Anglicans and Catholics believe it is wrong to have unmarried sex
- but some others belive it is a valid expression of love for eachother if both are commited for a long relationship

- both belive adultery is wrong
- Both agree that it is wrong because is it involves lieing, secrecy and betraying trust
- Adultery breaks the promise people made before God at their wedding day

Society view on family planning
- accept family planning
- if you don’t want a child, then it is better to prevent it than have an unwanted child
- Concerns to reduce global increasing population
Christian agreeing view on family planning
- It is okay to prevent children but the way differs from each section
- Some forms of contraception are not okay

Catholic view on family planning
- Atifical contaception goes against God’s natural law
- Sex is for making new life, and for showing love so artifical contraception is removing that and are preventing gods plan

- sex is for children, but might not always be wanted
- most loving thing to do is to use contracption so that it reduces unwanted children

Christians see it as sinful (catholic) CofE accept that although marriage is best, people can live together in a faithful, loving and commited way without being married and also the cost.
