- Others belive adopting is just as okay to fit the changing world
- Bible doesn’t specifically say anything about homosexual relationships, so it causes disagreements
- People think the bible needs to be changed to fit with modern society
Catholics…
- homosexuals are only sinful if they have sex - should remain chaste

- accepts homosexuals who are in a commited, loving relationship but doesn’t allow them to marry IN church

Past - considered shocking (especially for women), still like this in many cultures the can be asked to leave the family
Now/last 50 years - Changed… it is widely accepted

- many belife sex is loving, life long union requiring commitment of marriage
- Shouldn’t be casual
- Sexually pure before marriage because shows commitment
Anglicans and Catholics believe it is wrong to have unmarried sex
- but some others belive it is a valid expression of love for eachother if both are commited for a long relationship

Society and Christian view on sex outside of marriage
- both belive adultery is wrong
- Both agree that it is wrong because is it involves lieing, secrecy and betraying trust
- Adultery breaks the promise people made before God at their wedding day
- Lust is wrong
- though, marriage is an unbreakable bond, that you should work on to forgive
