- curse - connotations, supernatural, evil, destiny, inescapable
- incongruous fagots - harsh consonants, harsh tone, brutal effects of duality, repetition of incongruous emphasis
- bound - destiny again
- agonised womb - juxtaposition between agonized and womb, agonized connotes pain, death even, whereas womb connotes life. this is imagery of pain that is born together and death causing.
- polar twin - repelling
- continuously - eternal struggle
- with something of a slyish cast perhaps, but every mark of capacity and kindness
- slyish - connotes deceit, treachery
- kindness connotes honesty, benign
