Family/relationships is the theme because she is only acknowledged when she exceeds at school but otherwise ignored

Family is the theme because at school she is not looked down because she is smart but at home she is looked down on either ways

Loneliness is the theme because she is always the one they take things out on and punish her for things that are not meant to be punished for.
‘She reached over and snatched two dragon eyes from my bowl as she left the room my three brothers followed her example’
Family and relationships is the theme because her sibling always pick on her for when she does good things.

Self esteem is the theme because when she does something right Niang puts her down with harsh words.
‘You don’t know because you are stupid and you don’t deserve to wear this’
Self esteem is the theme because big sister gets mad because she wins the medal and take the attention of father so she mentally puts her down with words to let her know she is stupid.
