In the end, the Signora Ines made her work and gave her money instead of a goodie bag because she knew she was poor. This made Rosaura feel badly as it made her feel she was treated differently. She just to fit in like the other girls.

In the story, Roger attempts to steal a woman’s purse. The woman catches him and has to decide how to best teach him a lesson. Should she punish him or show him kindness?

In the end, the woman teachers Roger a lesson by showing him kindness. She takes him home, feeds him, takes care of him and even gives him money. This teaches Roger a lesson.

The character, Roger changes from the beginning to the end of the story. In the end, he seems to appreciate the woman’s kindness and generosity. It seems that he learned his lesson and will hopefully not do something like this again. Her kindness touched him and made him think differently about his actions.
