- seed: God’s word
- seed on path: those who have heard the word but are taken by satan
- seed choked by thorns: those distracted by worldly desires
- seed on good soil: multiplies, those who hear,accept, obey and ‘bear fruit’

-seed: kingdom of God
- the seed grows as it is what God wants

-just as a small seed grows into something large : the kingdom of God which started off with disciples spreading the word will result in protection nation wide
jesus + the children
- the kingdom of God belongs to children because: they have nothing, they recieve the kingdom, they are completely dependent

-he kept many of the commandments but his main focus was his riches
- he wanted to know what he could do to get into the kingdom instead of giving everything to God

- ‘love the lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength’
