- Good examples of both men and women in childrens’ lives

- Can make children believe in stereotypes

- A family that includes grandparents and other relatives living together
Advantage:
- Children have a lot of role models
Disadvantage:
- Children may have to become young carers to care for older family members

- People of the same sex raising children together
Advantage:
- Children are open to would would be seen as not normal by society

What is the Catholic view about marriage?
Marriage is a sacrament. When two people marry they are not only showing their commitment to each other, but also to God.
