Q
Why isn’t situation ethics good for making moral decisions?
A
- Cook says humans aren’t omniscient so we can’t know the consequences of our actions (so consequentialist theory fails)
- Barclay says we need laws to protect society (despite what fletcher states)
- Contradicts new testament views (there’s clear rules on adultery and theft)
