Larceny
Larceny is the trespassory taking and carrying away of personal property of another with the intent to steal.
Embezzlement
Embezzlement is the fraudulent conversion of personal property of another by one who is already in lawful possession of that property.
False pretenses
False pretenses occurs when the defendant knowingly makes a false representation of a past or present material fact, which causes the person to whom it was made to convey title to the misrepresenter who intends to defraud.
Robbery
Robbery is a larceny and in addition the property has been taken from the person or presence of the owner through force, or by placing the owner in fear.
Extortion
Extortion is a threat of future harm to deprive an owner of his property.
Theft
Theft is the illegal taking of another person’s property.
Burglary
Burglary is a breaking and entering of the dwelling house of another at nighttime with intent to commit a felony therein.
Receipt of stolen property
Receipt of stolen property is a crime when one knowingly receives, conceals, or disposes of stolen property.
Arson
Arson is the malicious burning of the dwelling of another. Scorching is insufficient, there must be charring.
Forgery
Forgery is the making or altering of a writing with apparent legal significance so that it is false with intent to defraud.
