A person is guilty of theft if he DISHONESTLY APPROPRIATES PROPERTY BELONGING to another, with the INTENT to PERMANENTLY DEPRIVE the other of it.

Define Abstracting Electricity?
A person who DISHONESTLY uses WITHOUT DUE AUTHORITY or DISNHONESTLY causes to be WASTED or DIVERTED, any electricity shall on conviction on indictment be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years.
How can someone abstract electricity?
- Bypassing an electric meter in domestic or commercial property
- Wasting electricity
- Cannabis factories
- Squatters
- Includes batteries!
Can electricity be stolen?
No, however it can be abstracted.
