Theater has always been around and it looked like storytelling
What is “theatre” and what elements are present for it to be considered such?
Theatre is a deliberate performance created by live actors and intended for live audiences, typically making use of scripted language. But a simplistic definition is theater is at least one audience member and one actor.

Upright, up center, up left, right center, center, left center, down right, down center, and down left

The apron is found on a proscenium stage and is a round part of the stage
What are the wings?
The wings are on the sides of the stage and are used for actors to go when they leave stage and are about to go on stage

The cyclorama is lock upstage and is used as a background that’s captures light
What is the fly space?
The fly space is a storage area for lights and set pieces so they are out of sight from the audience
