what are the 3 types of memory that contain different information? (Tulving 1975)

Episodic = visual complex; things that happen Semantic = knowledge of the world Procedural = memory of actions

Phonological Loop (mouth and ears)?
A
one slave system that deals with information as it arrives; divided between the phonological loop which stores words you hear and the articulatory process which allows maintenance rehearsal or words in a loop

A
an additional process that monitors in coming data and allocates it to a certain slave system for the task

third slave system - temporary store for info, visual, spacial and maintains a sense of time sequencing
