The Wall Street Crash originally occurred in America. America went in to a great deal of depression, banks went bankrupt, no one invested in businesses, 13 million people were forced to live on the streets.
How did the Wall Street Crash affect Germany?
The Young Plan involved Germany borrowing loans from the Americans, so when America when bankrupt, the recalled all the loans back from Germany. This then led to Germany being bankrupt as well.
What affects did the Wall Street Crash have on the people of Germany?
The Wall Street Crash led to over six million people unemployed, people were forced to live in parks and on the streets on the edge of cities. Businesses went bankrupt.
How did the Wall Street Crash lead to Hitler gaining power?
Hitler saw the desperation Germany was suffering from and this led to him making promises to them people. Gaining support from the people got him more votes. He used things people needed eg. promised food and employment
