Afterlife
Life after the physical death of the body
Animal rights
The idea that some or all non-human animals are entitled to particular treatment and respect
Commonality (of all living beings)
The idea that all living beings share certain attributes and characteristics
Cyclical (view of human existence)
The view that life is a cycle of birth, death and rebirth
Determinism
The philosophical view that every human action is an inevitable consequence of pre-existing conditions and so humans do not possess genuine free will
Dominance (of human beings over all other living beings)
The idea that humans are in some way superior to other living beings and so have power over them
Free Will
The power and ability to make choices and act on them without limitations from external forces or pre-existing conditions
Greed
The desire for more of something beyond one’s needs
Human Destiny
The end point for all humans; the events that will inevitably happen to me in the future
Ignorance
Not being aware or possessing knowledge of something
Immorality
Living forever
Judgement (by God)
The idea that, after death, God decides our fate according to our actions on earth
Law of cause and effect (in relation to human actions)
The view that our actions in this life affect our position in our next life (either from a linear or cyclical perspective)
Linear (view of human existence)
The view that life is our one earthly life and it ends with death
Physicalism
The philosophical position that there is nothing more than the physical world
