A

They had to take responsibility for the entire war and had to pay reparations to the allies. They had to give away all land they had managed to achieve and even lost some land they had before the war. Their army was restricted as well

The German army was restricted to 100,000 men; the general staff was eliminated; the manufacture of submarines and airplanes was forbidden; and only a small number of specified factories could make weapons or munitions.
