Jesus : The word of god
” The word became made flesh and lived among us “ (john)
In the old testament there was now physical word only the word of God so God made jesus and he is the word of God
Jesus : the son of man
“Jesus began to teach them that the Son of man would undergo great suffering… and be killed and after three days rise again”
This title shows his human nature as he was scared when he was getting arrested in the garden. This also shows how Jesus understands the human condition
Jesus: the son of god
” The high priest asked Jesus,’ are you the messiah, the son of the blessed one?’. Jesus replied ‘I am’.”
Jesus never calls himself this title but he acknowledges it when someone says it. Jesus was always God as it was proven by the ressurection.
