=> “Lesser man” represent a humanistic tradition is obsessed with “form” in art, working on third novel, writing is everything for him. He spent most of the day behind his desk and writes there. He is an emotional guy, but when he has to choose he always decides for his own goodness. Like the friendship with Willy, who’s girlfriend is Irene. When he falls in love with here he “takes” here. After all he feels mercy about those things.
