Q

Why doesn’t Die Hard 2: Die Harder, make sense?

A

Die Hard 2: Die Harder didn’t make sense because it failed to understand that there was more than one airport around Washington D.C.

The planes are flying all around over Washington D.C., and are prevented from landing by the evil terrorists who have taken over the airport. Bruce WIllis has to act before the planes circling overhead run out of fuel.
So why don’t the planes simply fly to any of the number of other airports surrounding Washington D.C.?
