- A simple object such as a watch has complexities that fit together for a purpose so it must have a designer.
- In a similar way the universe is also very complex but function for a purpose therefore, must also have a designer.
- That designer must be God.

This is The Inductive Argument.
- The observation on the universe shows regular motion both in its parts and in the whole.
- To speak of regularity it is to speak of a system that abides by laws or rules.
- If obedience to rules is evident in the Universe, it is reasonable to ask who or what put those rules in place.
