Why did the Kapp Putsch fail?
-lack of support by the worker causing them to go on strike, resulting in no water, gas, electricity

-aimed to take over the whole country, make the army strong again and win back the country lost in the TofV

-left-wing workers in the industrial area of the Ruhr stayed on strike, rose up and took over several towns

- fired a bullet into the ceiling and announced he was taking over Bavaria and then take over the whole country
- locked Kahr and companions in a small room
- Stormtroppers took over government buildings and arrested officials
- Ludendorff supported him
Why did the Munich Putsch fail?
- Kahr promised to help him and was released
- went back on his word and contacted the police
- led to a short gun battle
- leaving 16 Nazis and 3 policemen dead
