A
  1. ) after being released they may struggle to fit in and assimilate with other members of society.
  2. ) prison members often become dependant on the structure and routine of prison, they struggle to regain confidence.
  3. ) some offenders become so dependant on the time spent in prison, they re-offend, so essentially their time spent in prison was pointless.
  4. ) offenders are often surrounded by other criminals so they learn dangerous behaviours, they exit jail more of a criminal than they began with.
